New life for broken ware
Nothing in this world is perfect and nothing is permanent. This piece was repaired using the modern Kintsugi technique. Repairing with Urushi resin and real gold will have to wait.

Monoprint on clay
Ginkgo leaves and one aspen leaf embossed into black clay. Painted with white engobe and fired to 1240 degrees.
Create art, not problems
The leaves of the ginkgo tree fell a while ago. I picked some fresh leaves from under the tree and put them under the shade, protected from the rain. Who knows when they might be needed
The most important thing is what is invisible to the eye
To the naked eye, these golden crystals look like small golden dust on the surface of the glaze but a completely different picture opens up very closely through a magnifying glass.
