Firing #138 – Ice Crackle and Teadust glazes
Every time there is some anxiety firing up the kiln – how they all come out. Every time it’s exciting to peek inside the kiln before completely opening the kiln door. Here are some pictures of the result both from a distance and up close.
New Everyday collection
The new everyday collection is almost ready. It consists of simple and practical cups, mugs, bowls, and other dishes that are well suited for everyday use.
Ceramic box with cobalt blue ice-crackle glaze
This glaze on the box likes only flat surfaces as its runny, but then it produces amazing play of light when light reflects through the cracks of the glaze.
