In this video you can see the process of throwing and trimming of the body and the lid and giving the final finishing and decoration.

Whenever I throw something on the potter’s wheel and it does not have a lid, I feel there is something missing. Constructing the body and the lid in a way that they fit perfectly is a pleasure to make.

In this video I’m making a shallow lidded jar from black stoneware clay. You can see the process of throwing and trimming of the body and the lid and giving the final finishing and decoration.

There is no audio and texts in this video, just studio noise and occasional deep breathing.
