Working in a small space

Nov 3, 2024 | Studio diary | 0 comments

My ceramics studio is barely 8 square meters, and everything I need must fit in this space – a potter’s wheel, a kiln, a work table, shelves for both clay and glazes, shelves for unfinished works and also finished works. A small space means that every square centimeter counts and is carefully used. A small space also means that some surface has several different uses depending on the need.

For example, in this picture, I have turned my throwing workplace into a photo booth instead. And because I keep all places clean, it’s easy to convert one place for another use.

I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve launched my shop on ETSY where I could showcase and sell my pottery. There’s still a lot undergoing in my tiny studio to add more products, so stay tuned for updates. I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy making it.
