Monoprint on clay

Just before Christmas I got a great suggestion that I should make a pancake platter with a lid. But of course, a really great idea! Eh, what is it?

To the naked eye, these golden crystals look like small golden dust on the surface of the glaze but a completely different picture opens up very closely through a magnifying glass.

The very first oil lamp that I made was a gift to a very special friend of our family. But now I just wanted to show off how it turned out.
