Every piece I make is my journey to mastery. Every little detail has its meaning and importance, so the final piece is not just nice, but pleasant to the eye and silky smooth to the hand to hold them.

New life for broken ware
Nothing in this world is perfect and nothing is permanent. This piece was repaired using the modern Kintsugi technique. Repairing with Urushi resin and real gold will have to wait.
Pancake platter with a lid
Just before Christmas I got a great suggestion that I should make a pancake platter with a lid. But of course, a really great idea! Eh, what is it?
Monoprint on clay
Ginkgo leaves and one aspen leaf embossed into black clay. Painted with white engobe and fired to 1240 degrees.
